  • Yesterday I spent a few hours in Palmer under dark overcast skies but at least the NECR was moving. Started with 608 sitting quietly as train 603 eases through the iron bridge and up into the yard.<br /> 2/3/2020
  • One of the few sucker holes in the clouds opened up just as NECR 3405 paused on the CSX yard lead.<br /> 2/3/2020
  • Just a couple of minutes later, as 3405 shoved down the lead, the clouds closed in again...<br /> 2/3/2020
  • Train 603 light power was 3844 and 3845 elephant style.<br /> 2/3/2020
  • The only movement I saw on CSX was 022 with a very short train.<br /> 2/3/2020
  • Late yesterday, just before sunset, we caught another ethanol train at MP57 in Charlton MA. !!!Thanks Anthony!!!<br /> 2/3/2020
  • At a half hour before sunset, there was just enough light for some glint off the ethanol train.<br /> 2/3/2020
